Christmas and New Year's Eve

Hi kids once again at Christmas Holidays!

Today I want to share a British tradition with you. You know that in Spain, we eat 12 grapes at the end of the year to have good luck for the next one. But in Great Britain, they have other tradition, and this is...

CRACKERS!

They are very easy to elaborate and here I will attach you a link explaining it (in Spanish, to make it easier):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbr607gwrRU

This tradition is been done since 1847! Two people have to haul each one from one side, and then comes the explosion with that "spark". The sweet inside the cracker will drop nearer one side and that will mean that person will be lucky the next year :)

Best wishes!!!

Unit 6: Wizards vs Muggles

In this unit we have seen that the prejudices are all around and we must look twice, and don't prejudge.

You can't judge a book by its cover.

Regarding the grammar, here you are some exercises to reinforce it:

Traditional Sports

Although the Olympic games have been two years ago, in unit 4 we have seen some famous athletes and now I want you to participate in the blog, by informing us the things you know about your favourite sport and some authentic athletes such as Usain Bolt or Mireia Belmonte.

Remember that there are more sports than football! And also famous sportits that are women!

I left you here something about Quidditch:

Quidditch

Of course, there is also a book about the history of Quidditch. You can ask me in class if you want to know more ;)

P.S. : It could be interesting if you investigate about strange sports from other countries such as the "Jugger" originate in Germany.

In this unit we have discovered the super power of the food, because we are what we eat!
In the following links you will find some exercises to practise the adverbs of frequency:

Firstly, you can have a look at the following video in which you will find a useful tool to reinforce the grammar:
